Liability Waiver

Still on the classic dashboard? These guides show the new dashboard. You can or read the classic version of this guide.

The waiver settings let you require guests to accept a liability waiver before booking classes. This helps protect your studio legally and ensures students acknowledge your terms.

Go to Dashboard > Settings > Waiver to configure your waiver.

Waiver settings with enable toggle, waiver body editor, and custom fields

Setting Up a Waiver

  1. Enable the waiver requirement using the toggle
  2. Edit the waiver text with your terms and conditions
  3. Configure custom fields — add any required information you need to collect from guests (e.g., emergency contact, medical conditions)
  4. Set versioning — track changes to your waiver over time

How It Works

When the waiver is enabled:

  • Guests see the waiver before completing their first booking
  • They must accept the waiver to proceed
  • Acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and signature type
  • Guests don't need to re-sign unless you update the waiver version

Signature Types

Guests can accept the waiver using:

  • Drawn signature — draw with finger or mouse
  • Typed signature — type their name
  • Checkbox — simple checkbox acceptance

Viewing Acceptances

To see who has signed your waiver, go to Dashboard > Settings > Waiver > Acceptances. See Waiver Acceptances for details.
