Ask your studio anything — connect an AI assistant
You can now connect your own AI assistant to StudioBase and ask about your studio in plain language — "How did revenue trend last month?", "Which classes are filling up?", "Who's on the waitlist for Saturday?" — and get answers grounded in your real data.
What's new
- Bring your own AI — connect Claude (Desktop or Code) or any MCP-compatible client with a single connector URL.
- Answers from your actual numbers — your assistant can read a studio snapshot, revenue trends, the schedule, class attendance, memberships, waitlists, and marketing performance.
- Plain-language questions — no dashboards to navigate or reports to export; just ask.
Read-only, and privacy-first by design
This connection is built to be safe to hand to an AI:
- Read-only. The assistant can look, but it cannot book, cancel, refund, or change anything in your studio.
- Aggregate, minimized data. It sees trends and totals — not member contact details and not payment identifiers. Member lookups return names only.
- You're in control. Access is granted through a browser approval step, scoped to a single studio, and you can revoke it at any time from settings.
- Audited. Every request your assistant makes is recorded, so there's always a trail of what was read.
How to connect
- Go to Settings → AI Assistant.
- Copy your MCP server URL.
- Add it to your AI client (in Claude, as a custom connector).
- Approve access in the browser when prompted, and pick the studio you want the assistant to see.
You'll see the connection's status — and a Revoke button — back on the same settings page.
