First-Booking Reward
Encourage repeat bookings by automatically sending a promo code to guests after they attend their first class at your studio.
How It Works
- You create a promo code in Settings > Promo Codes
- Toggle on "First-Booking Reward" for that code
- After a guest attends their first class, they automatically receive an email with the promo code
- The guest can use the code on their next booking
Setting It Up
- Go to Settings > Promo Codes
- Click Create Promo Code
- Set your code name, discount type, and value
- Enable the First-Booking Reward toggle
- Optionally set Max Uses Per User to limit how many times each guest can redeem the code
- Click Create
Only one promo code per studio can be set as the first-booking reward.
When Is the Email Sent?
The reward email is sent within 24 hours after a guest's first class ends and they are checked in (either manually by you or automatically by the system).
Managing the Feature
- Disable: Toggle the first-booking reward off on the promo code, or deactivate the code entirely
- Email preferences: You can toggle the email type in Settings > Notifications > Rewards
- Track sent rewards: The promo code's usage count reflects how many guests have redeemed the reward
FAQ
What if a guest attends two classes on the same day? They only receive one reward email. The system prevents duplicates.
Can the guest use the code even if they didn't receive the email? Yes, if they know the code. However, only guests who have attended at least one class can redeem a first-booking reward code.
What happens if I deactivate the promo code after emails have been sent? Guests who already received the code will see "This reward code is no longer active" if they try to use it.
